Alkaline Water establishes direct store delivery network in Southern California
The Alkaline Water Company has established a direct store delivery (DSD) network in Southern California to further increase the reach of its Alkaline88 water brand to consumers.
Alkaline88 has entered into exclusive territorial distribution agreements with wholesalers including Pacific Beverage, Advance Beverage, Straub Distributing, Triangle Distributing, Heimark, Claypool, R&S Beverage, Balboa Distributing, Mission Beverage, Ace Beverage and Hangar 24, to distribute and penetrate deeper into the Southern California marketplace.
Through its new distribution partners in the region, the water bottling company expects to see a positive impact on its overall margins and profitability.
The Alkaline Water Company would be replicating its hybrid, go-to-market strategy it executed in Arizona with its wholesale partner Kalil Bottling.
The Alkaline Water Company COO Richard A. Wright said: "With our tremendous success achieving distribution of our 1 gallon and 3 liter containers in all the major regional chains of Southern California where we are the No. 1 alkaline water brand, we now have the partners and power of this wholesaler network distributing, selling and executing our small bottles to make Alkaline88 available to more accounts and meet the demand of our consumers."
The Alkaline Water Company intends to expand this distribution model to Northern California as well along with parts of the Pacific Northwest by the end of 2016. It also plans to expand Alkaline88 distribution in other strategic states next year.
A bottled alkaline drinking water product, Alkaline88 has a pH balance of 8.8 and contains trace minerals and electrolytes.
Its bottler has made it available in packaged sizes of 500ml, 700ml along with 1ltr, 3ltr and 1gn.
