ÖKO unveils new filtration water bottle with NASA-derived technology

DBR Staff Writer Published 16 January 2012

California-based ÖKO has come up with a new water filtration bottle that uses NASA-derived technology to ensure that all three levels of water filters produce fresh water instantly.

Available at http://okoh2o.com in three sizes, six designer colors and three levels of filters, the bottles are made from a customized proprietary blend of plastics that has passed through stringent SGS testing for FDA food contact safety.

Each filter can handle approximately 100 gallons of water. The bottles are 100% BPA-free and the cap is made of Tritan, a clear hard plastic that displays the water filtration in action as liquid passes through the mouth of the bottle.

The bottle's ultra-light contoured shape makes it easy to carry and it also includes an Ö-ring carabiner to carry or hook the bottle onto a bag. The filtered water bottles are dishwasher safe and easy to clean, claims ÖKO.
